Policy

Please Read Carefully.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

By signing up for lessons the student agrees to the following terms:

If the student is unable to attend one of their lessons, the instructor must be notified at least 24 hours prior to the lesson.  Students who fail to give 24 hours notice,  cancel upon the instructor’s arrival, or are not present during the scheduled lesson will be charged for the lesson and no make-up lesson with be given.  If cancellations are excessive or if the student refuses to abide by this policy, lessons will no longer be available.  In the case of severe weather, sudden illness, accident or other emergency, the student will not be charged for the cancellation and a make-up lesson will be scheduled.  Remember that when you schedule a lesson, that time slot is for you and no one else.  Please try to be keep your scheduled time.

A Word on Practicing

Like anything else, in order to achieve success in music, the student must try their best to practice every day.  Consistent practice on the instrument proves to be the most effective way to learn.  I realize that with today’s hectic school and work schedules the student may not have the time to practice every day.  This is understandable and all that is asked is that the student attempts to practice as often as possible. With hard work and dedication, the lesson will run more smoothly allowing both the student and instructor to build upon prior knowledge, continue learning, and to have more fun.
